1. When using the electric water heater for the first time, make sure to fill it with water before turning it on (this also applies after maintenance or cleaning).
2. Use a power line with the appropriate rated current for the water heater. The power connection must have reliable grounding, and the ground resistance should not exceed 4Ω.
3. Never turn the power on or off with wet hands. If the water heater won't be used for a long time, disconnect the power.
4. Do not try to adjust the safety valve on the water heater by yourself to avoid accidents caused by incorrect operation.
5. If you need to connect a discharge pipe to the safety valve, the pipe must face downward and stay open to the air.
6. If the water heater won't be used during winter for a long time, drain the water inside to prevent freezing and damage to the tank. Always cut off the power before draining.
7. The water heater can reach temperatures above 75°C, so don’t test the water temperature with your hand. Use a container to check the water temperature to avoid burns.
8. To clean the exterior of the water heater, first cut off the power, then wipe it with a damp cloth, and follow with a dry cloth. Do not spray water directly or use chemical cleaners.
9. Do not try to adjust the safety valve by yourself to prevent accidents caused by improper operation.
10. When using the water heater, the power supply must have a reliable ground line and use a dedicated circuit. Never modify the original power cord to prevent short circuits or electric shocks.
11. To prevent the tank from freezing, insulate the inlet and outlet pipes when the outdoor temperature drops below 0°C, to avoid damage to parts and appliances.
